we'd had a show set at the six string cafe....but a week or so before the show they shut the doors. a phone call got us in marsh woodwinds. the show will be here for awhile. cool room....nice setting.
marsh has a music store and horn repair biz downstairs...
and couple of cool rooms upstairs.
caroline and carly run over their music prior to the show.
don't we look relaxed!!
little legand abby davis introduced the show. she's a guitar/piano/singer who writes and performs..at 9. pretty poised...
the stage had drums, amps, pianos, etc...and some cats took full advantage of the gear..like brian and alec wingin the combo thing.
sam bradburn got up and did a tune with his sister...
sam's a versital musician who always plays something cool.
short people what?
caroline campbell sings with beauty and confidence.
then she does a duet with
carly stiver
carly is one amazing singer.
speaking of amazing....
brian kirk shows everyone how it's done.
daniel barrus did a few tunes
he's working on some new originals.
same thing for brad stiver.
he plays challanging tunes and works hard on stage to give a good show.
alec sturgis makes it all look easy.
alec is headed for college and this is more than likely our last chance to hear him for awhile.
so.....look for the next show to be back at marsh woodwinds..
even without one of the super stars....the show must go on.
student news
kat stephenson.....new kid on the block.
she's got an old soul voice that seems unreal....
nice guitar player...i'm pushing to write....but man what a set of pipes.
really........kat will floor you when you hear her.
mande monchick

she's working on some new tunes and really is a strong singer you'll enjoy.
christa o'laughlin..

her fingers are a little tender but her attitude isn't.
she's a swimmer, smart, loves the challange and will do well over time.
christa...stay tuned for more.
peyton hartzog
so ya wanna play guitar huh? do you think there's anything this girl can't do if you challange her?
i kept saying.."try to look mean"
saying hi to her friends..
12....tall...super smart..
this will be easy and fun can't you tell?
jenna moore get's a new axe
she's got some piano, drums, and singing going on and now is ready to thrash a string machine.
9 going on 22....almost ready to rock the house. she's been in several of the teen shows and continues to grow musically and in every other way.
sam bradburn
no end in sight when it comes to talent for this guy.
sam has a ton of options to express himself.....
beyond guitar, vocals, piano, drums, uke, banjo, and mandolin he's an avid hunter who shoots about anything with just about anything that shoots.
keep up on his musical growth....
sam is an artist on bamboo music....listen awhile and you'll know why.
